Terms of Service
Effective: January 1, 2026 · Last updated: June 30, 2026
1. What TrustDavis is
TrustDavis is an analysis and advisory tool. We read contractor bids and inspection reports and generate structured analysis to help homeowners make informed decisions. We are not a contractor referral service, a licensed home inspector, a real estate agent, or a financial advisor. Our reports are informational tools, not professional opinions in the legal sense.
2. What our reports are and aren't
TrustDavis reports reflect analysis of the documents you provide, compared against market pricing data and scope standards. Reports are not a warranty, guarantee, or professional certification of any contractor's work. The final decision about which contractor to hire, whether to proceed with a project, and how to negotiate any contract is entirely yours. TrustDavis provides information — not instructions.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be 18 or older to use TrustDavis. You may not use TrustDavis to analyze bids on behalf of others without their knowledge, or to misrepresent your identity or property ownership.
4. Uploads and your data
By uploading documents to TrustDavis, you confirm that you have the right to share those documents for analysis purposes. You retain ownership of your documents. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your uploaded content. See our Privacy Policy for how we store and protect it.
5. Payments and refunds
Paid reports are non-refundable once generated, except under our money-back guarantee: if your report doesn't deliver at least one useful insight you didn't already know, contact us within 14 days for a full refund. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
6. Contractor relationships
TrustDavis does not receive fees, referrals, or commissions from contractors. Our analysis is independent of any business relationship with the contractors in your bids. We do not endorse any specific contractor, and our recommendations reflect only the quality of their bid relative to your project.
7. Limitation of liability
TrustDavis's total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from contractor decisions, project outcomes, or reliance on our reports.
8. Changes to the service
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of TrustDavis at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid functionality.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration in Atlanta, GA, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court to prevent irreparable harm.
